“MY GRANDFATHER LOLO”

There are too many important people in my life: my mom, my dad my sister and closer friends but the most important of all of them is my grandfather “LOLO”. In this essay I will show you some characteristics that makes my grandfather so special to me, some aspects about his personality and I will describe why I consider him my “hero” .
J. Dolores Meza Donato was born in a very small ranch called “La Mesilla”; He is the oldest son in a family of 10 people. Since he was a little boy he started to work at any job that he could find because his family did not have money; for that reason he never studied in a real school but that was not an obstacle for him because he knew how to survive in a society that regret the people that does not have any academic knowledge. When he was 18 years old he met my grandmother “Vicky” and they got married, they had 14 children and the only important job that they had together was making traditional Mexican candies such as sombrillas, muelas, camote, dulce de leche, jamonsillos etc… He never learned how to write and read, but he is very smart, he can make mathematic formulas very quickly in his mind and he did all the things that he wanted to do in his life. Nowadays he has a grocery and he feels very comfortable with his job.
Like all the people, he has positives aspects: he is an active worker, also he is a very friendly and popular in his neighborhood. He is always smiling and that makes that the people that spend time with him feel comfortable and very open to talk with him about anything; he also has negative aspects; for example he is a very stubborn person and he does not like that any person say things that makes him angry (like everybody).
My relationship with him is very close because our personalities are similar and since I was born he said that I was just like him, I am the person who cares the most for him. I love him very much and about all his grandsons he said that I am his favorite one.
My grandfather made a lot of things in his life (good and bad) and I think that I see him like a “model to follow” because he never cares about the expectations that people have about him, he did whatever he wanted and he lives his life happy and surrounded of people that like him, I love him and I do not know what am I going to do the day that I will not have him anymore.

SUSAN FABIOLA MORALES MEZA

Many people wait very anxiously for their first baby but no one like has waited more anxiously than my parents, I was the second baby in a beautiful family of five people my mom, my dad, my sister, my brother and me. In this essay I will explain some aspects of mi personality and what are my goals in a future I`m susan fabiola morales meza and this is my story.

I was born in December 27th in 1988 in Aguascalientes Ags., my parents Ma. Dolores Meza Medina and Raul Morales Posada were expecting their second baby, a beautiful girl named Susan Fabiola Morales Meza I come from a really big family my grandpa “lolo” said that I looked like him and I think that is why he loves me like I love him, my childhood was pretty and I know I don’t regret about the person that I am, nowadays I`m student in the English Language Teaching career and I`m very happy for that because I met new and very interesting people.

In what concerns to my personality, I always have been a person with a very strong and special temper but at the same time I am a very social and friendly person, I like try to people laugh also I`m a very selective maybe I have a lot of partners but I have just a few friends; what I look for in a friend is a honest person, I don`t like the lies also I don`t like the egocentrics persons that are more focus in what they want for themselves and they don`t care about anyone else. Believe it or not is very difficult to find a person that share the same likes and dislike than me like for example I like a lot go party, all the music specially rock I like the sports like soccer, basket ball, swimming and stuffs like that, I have a dog called Reggie and it`s my baby I love her very much. About food my favorite is lasagna and the Birria also the ice cream and chocolate probably you must say that everybody likes what I like but seriously is not that simple. Another thing that I don`t like about food are chilli and vegetables. There are many moments that changed my life in a bad and in a good way the most recent that I can remember is the year that I couldn`t enter to the UAA, I felt very sad and I didn`t like to much start to work all that year and see that all my high school friends were studying and I didn`t. That experience helped me a lot to understand the importance of study and when I enter in the 2008 I promised myself that I will be a good student.

In what concerns to my major, I must say that my short-term goals are to finish the major and to find a good job. My long-term goals are to buy my own apartment and a car, to get married to have one baby and adopt two more, to have economic stability and if it is possible open my own school.

As a conclusion I must say that every little thing that I have done during all my life are good for me and I would not change anything because that success and mistakes made me the person who I am now and I know that I have the ability to make things betters in a future.
